- Graduated from Oxford College of Emory University in 1990.
- Received Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1992.
- Earned Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Marquette University in 1996.
- Member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and Academy of General Dentistry.
- Inducted into Hinman Dental Society in 2005.
- Member of the Braselton Business Association.
- Member of New Haven Church in Gainesville, where he formerly served as a Sunday School teacher and deacon.
